B&B heads to the SCAA Event in Houston

Houston, here we come!
Many people throughout the specialty coffee industry will be heading to Houston, TX in the next few days to take part in the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) Event. Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters will have several folks down at The Event participating in nearly every part of the show. Atlanta's Community Outreach Coordinator, Jason Dominy, will be teaching Skill Building Workshops and competing at the United States Brewers Cup. Atlanta Trainer, Chandler Rentz, will be competing at the United States Barista Competition. Bob Benck, Green Coffee Buyer plans to meet with our importers and further grow our relationships with our coffee producers. Our coffee will be brewed on the show floor by vendor partners and during the coffee breaks between classes. This is always an exciting time for me as I take part in several activities with the SCAA throughout the year and it all culminates this week! I will be evaluating Skill Building Workshops, administering the BGA Level 1 test and judging the USBC.
